Staff are lovely, very approachable and patient when caring for dad. Debbie in particular is a super star and is really supportive to all of the family. Thank you.
Want to get out of bed, lost strength in legs due to lack of exercise.
This is an amendment to my review on 23rd Nov. It’s a bit awkward doing this on a phone.
Support staff at St Francis were very nice as were most of the nurses with some who were very caring and others who weren’t.
The establishment itself is not fantastic and the day to day care and interaction needs to be reviewed.
They need more staff who interact with the patients other than at repositioning or delivery of meds.
Some but by no means all staff are in the wrong job.
Nurses were lovely.
Some support staff and some nursing staff have a terrible attitude towards both patients and their relatives. There are not enough staff on the night shift and there is a lack of compassion. There is no real interaction with patients and no support for either patients or relatives. This is not the environment I would expect for people who are at the end of their life especially if they and their relatives have a voice and an opinion.
I am well looked after and feel safe here.
Very engaging and likeable staff, nice surroundings for the building.
